Dimensions: 14 x 11 Media: Digital graphic on aluminum Artist Statement : An experiment in light, shadow, texture, and earth tones. I hope the viewer finds this a calming work.
Dimensions: 41 x 16 x 3 Media: Found Objects Artist Statement : Narrative found object assemblage wall-relief sculpture, 41 x 16 x 3, inspired by a gift of a broken piano. The only piano I had played was on the front porch of my Grandmother's farm. That gift caused me to reflect on my many wonderful memories at my Grandmother's farm in Michigan. Every summer I enjoyed adventures that were quite different than my usual days in Chicago. I cherish these memories and imagine we all have special thoughts of visiting our grandmother. This sculpture features the piano keys, fisher price barn, woodpecker toothpick holder(similar to the one in the dining room), embroidery hoop, tiny jars of assorted goods, woodpecker, strawberry, brush, architectural detail, my Grandmother's broken plate, corn on the cob holders, cookie cutters, cow, pig, chicken, skunk, etc. For me, each object is a story. Perhaps you can also find memories in some of these objects. (2024) Relationship with Love (Family).

Dimensions: 40 x 30 x 0.5 Media: Mixed: Paint, wax, metallic glazes, pastels, photography and other Artist Statement : R. Racanello ARTIST STATEMENT:
Art has always been part of me, from the first time I colored outside the lines and preferred my result to the neater versions of my classmates. I started to identify myself as an “artist” when others called me by that name. Soon I began to understand that this was something you could “be.”
In the past decade I have become fascinated with flipping some part of the perspective in each piece I create resulting in a kind of enhanced reality using paint, metallic glazes, crayon, pastel and sometimes a variety of less conventional media as well as photographs that I have taken to bring my inner vision forward in my artwork. You will see what I see.
There is no use of digital art effects or scanning, no reproductions of finished pieces, no multiple editions. Each completed piece is unique and hand-made, a one of a kind finished multimedia artwork.

**Price: Algorithmic Cityscapes I = $275, Algorithmic Cityscapes II = $350, and special deal offer of both = $500 Artist Statement : "Algorithmic Cityscapes I & II" materializes the invisible systems that increasingly govern our urban environments. Through stark monochromatic geometries and deliberate distortions, these works reveal how digital surveillance and computational algorithms mediate our experience of physical space. QR codes and grid patterns recur throughout as symbols of control and access, creating portals where concrete structures dissolve into abstract patterns of data. Each composition stages a confrontation between the tangible city and its virtual underpinnings, exposing the digital infrastructure that remains largely hidden yet omnipresent. Drawing from queer perspectives on surveillance, the work critically examines how algorithmic systems enforce binaries and classifications. The rigid geometries hint at systems of oversight while simultaneously suggesting possible points of resistance--places where bodies and identities that defy simple categorization might disrupt algorithmic governance.
Dimensions: 54 x 36 x 1 Media: Acrylic on canvas Artist Statement : I was born and raised in Iran and witnessed and suffered through all the injustice and harsh laws that were imposed against women by the Islamic revolutionary government in Iran, and the influence of that pain is apparent in my art Which gradually developed into a protest for basic liberties and rights, specially for women.
Art Allows me to paint my emotions rather than talking about them. I basically paint myself over and over and with each painting I get to know and accept myself more. For me, art is not only a way of creating but also finding peace. Art has been a journey through which I found my old resilient self I had lost and forgotten about while dealing with everyday life challenges.
Dimensions: 30 x 40 x 2 Media: acrylic and pencil on canvas Artist Statement : Fifty years of resilient growth while the human activity surrounding it is a cacophony of personal and global events. The collective we has had so many missed opportunities, we turned, closed our eyes, chose our own comfort and desires over those of Mother Earth. We simply carry on without asking, "what does the earth need vs. what do I want?"

Dimensions: 21.5 x 13.5 x 13.5 Media: Stoneware, Wood-Fired Artist Statement : A hand-built stoneware sculptural form, partially glazed and fired in a Noborigama wood kiln. As an artist, I cherish moments spent exploring natural settings, fueling my creativity and informing the soul and substance of my work. While the concept of my artworks is deliberately planned, each form takes a life of its own as it evolves through the slow hand building process. The ceramic form is inspired by barrel cacti, their resilience and fascinating defense mechanism. The importance of the areole is emphasized by elements branching out from it, symbolizing growth. Glazing and firing techniques are an essential part of the creation, wood firing often yields mesmerizing outcomes almost adding a fourth dimension to the sculpture.

Dimensions: 37 x 26.5 x 1.5 Media: Fiber Art - Handwoven Tapestry
This tapestry is designed from a compilation of my photographs taken In a variety of locations in Arizona. The image is re-created, re-drawn and prepared for handweaving using Adobe Photo Shop. The tapestry is handwoven in 4 colors of cotton at 45 ends per inch on a jacquard loom and finished with textile hand painting. It is embellished with hand drawn digitized embroidery.
Artist Statement : This handwoven tapestry celebrates the incredible variety of migrating birds who find winter environs that support them in the Southwest U.S. Our feathered friends come in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and shapes. They have evolved to eat different things, live in a wide variety of eco systems: in deserts, mountains, canyons and valleys. Despite their differences they share the trees, shrubs and grasses — the lakes, reservoirs, wetlands and riparian preserves. They carry on the daily tasks of their lives in an orderly way. They can be observed frequenting back yard feeders, Audubon centers, Wildlife Reserves and in State/National Parks and Monuments. They are an amazing example of living life in balance - as long as humans do not interfere.

Dimensions: 64 x 24 x 20 Media: Burnished & Painted Mild Steel, Interactive Kinetic Artist Statement : I am a metal sculptor who creates primarily non-representational pieces of art in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, iron, bronze and occasionally found objects. I’m strongly attracted to geometric shapes and reflective objects.
My artistic goal is to capture the interest and curiosity of the viewer and elicit the reaction: “how is that possible?” or “how did he do that?” And my goal is to do that while maintaining the highest aesthetic quality. Most of my work is an “Exploration of Solid Geometry”
Dimensions: 24 x 24 x 1 Media: mixed media - photography, photo collage & digital art Artist Statement : So much art has been made of sunset images - it's challenging to make something original from a sunset image. This glass-windowed building was lit up by a multi-colored sunset which I captured in a photograph. I used that photograph as the basis for Shimmering, by drawing and painting digitally on the image and collaging it with other images to create an idealized sunset, like the finale of an urban symphony.
