Mixed media mosaic. Materials include found metal stator and rotor, Orsoni smalti, gold penny tile, hand-pulled filati, White River shale (Arkansas).

Found metal is always a surprise. The metal in this piece was part of the electrical components of a motor. The center of the piece is made of hand-pulled filati in a rusted bottle cap which is placed on a piece of White River shale.
