For this project, I aimed to capture a unique vision through my lens of healing inspired by the thought provoking quote, "Everything grows in the rain." My goal was to create a vibrant heavenscape that symbolizes growth through blooming flowers, reflecting the beauty that can emerge from grief. We all face our own struggles and losses, and each person's journey is distinct. For me, the recent passing of my uncle Bobby and cousin Darren, just a week apart last May, along with my Aunt Pat this past January, deeply influenced my creative process. This work is not just a tribute; it’s a celebration of resilience and the transformative power of nature amidst our sorrows.
